Garage Management Software for UK Garages

Bookings, digital job cards, MOT reminders, invoicing, parts, staff rotas and a phone line that answers itself. One system that runs the workshop from the first call to the paid invoice, built in the UK for independent garages, MOT stations, mobile mechanics and multi-site groups.

What Garage Management Software Does

Garage management software replaces the diary, the job-card pad, the invoice book, the MOT reminder postcards and the spreadsheet of customers with one system that carries a job from booking to payment without anything being typed twice. A booking taken on the phone, online or by the AI receptionist lands in the diary against a bay and a technician. The job card is opened from the booking, parts and labour are added at the ramp, the estimate becomes the invoice with one click, the customer pays by card from the email, and the MOT reminder for next year is already scheduled. Everything the workshop did that day is in the reports by close of business.

MyGarageCRM is that system, built in the UK for independent garages. It is a full workshop management platform rather than a booking widget: bay-level diary, digital job cards, estimates and invoicing, DVLA and DVSA MOT lookups, parts stock and purchase orders, staff rotas, car sales, multi-site, a financial dashboard, and the one thing no competitor has, a built-in AI receptionist that answers and books calls 24 hours a day. Every plan starts with 28 days of full access free, and we migrate your existing data for nothing.

Why Generic Software Fails UK Garages

Garage Management Software Reviews

What garage owners, front-desk staff and mobile mechanics say after switching to MyGarageCRM. Rated 5 out of 5 from 12 reviews.

★★★★★

We’d been using a paper diary and handwritten job cards for years and finally decided it was time to change. MyGarageCRM has made the workshop so much easier to manage. Everyone can see what’s booked in, what stage each job is at and what still needs invoicing.

Mark T. MyGarageCRM customer
★★★★★

The MOT reminders have been brilliant for us. Customers are getting reminders automatically instead of us trying to remember who needs calling every week. We’ve definitely seen more customers coming back for their next MOT.

Steve R. MyGarageCRM customer
★★★★★

I run a small independent garage and didn’t want some massive complicated system. This has everything we actually need. Book the car in, create the job card, add the parts and labour and send the invoice. Really straightforward.

Daniel P. MyGarageCRM customer
★★★★★

The digital job cards have probably made the biggest difference. The lads can add parts and notes while they’re working on the vehicle and everything is there when we invoice the customer. No more trying to decipher oily bits of paper at the end of the day.

Chris W. MyGarageCRM customer
★★★★★

I manage the front desk and MyGarageCRM has saved me hours every week. Customer details, vehicle history, bookings, estimates and invoices are all in the same place. When someone rings up I can find everything I need in seconds.

Sarah M. MyGarageCRM customer
★★★★★

We have a busy MOT and service centre with several technicians and the diary is excellent. Being able to see the workshop schedule and who is working on each vehicle makes organising the day so much easier.

Paul H. MyGarageCRM customer
★★★★★

I’m a mobile mechanic and use it from my phone while I’m out working. I can pull up the customer, check the vehicle history, update the job and send the invoice without going home and spending the evening doing paperwork.

Jamie C. MyGarageCRM customer
★★★★★

Parts getting fitted and then accidentally missed off the invoice used to happen more than I’d like to admit. Now everything gets added directly to the job card as we go. It’s tightened up the whole process and we have a much better idea of what we’re actually making on jobs.

Robert B. MyGarageCRM customer
★★★★★

We moved over from spreadsheets and I wish we’d done it sooner. The biggest improvement is having the complete history against each vehicle. When a regular customer comes back we can immediately see what we did last time and what was recommended.

Lee D. MyGarageCRM customer
★★★★★

Quotes are much more professional now. We can put the parts and labour together, send the estimate to the customer and then turn it into the job and invoice without entering everything again. It saves a surprising amount of admin.

Andrew S. MyGarageCRM customer
★★★★★

We’ve got two workshop locations and having everything together has made managing them so much easier. I can see what’s happening without constantly ringing each site. The reporting also gives me a much clearer picture of how the business is performing.

Michelle K. MyGarageCRM customer
★★★★★

What I like is that it feels like it was designed for an actual UK garage rather than being a generic CRM with automotive features bolted onto it. MOTs, job cards, parts, labour, vehicle history and invoicing all flow together properly. The team picked it up quickly and we’re using far less paper.

Garage Management Software: Common Questions

What is garage management software?

Garage management software runs the day-to-day of a workshop from one system: bookings and the diary, job cards, estimates and invoices, MOT and service reminders, customer and vehicle records, parts stock, staff rotas and reporting. The point is that a job entered once at booking flows through to the invoice and the reminder without being typed again.

How much does garage management software cost in the UK?

MyGarageCRM is £139 a month for Starter, £265 for Professional and £365 for Enterprise, with roughly 30% off on annual billing. Every plan starts with 28 days of full access free, and migration from your old system or spreadsheets is done for you at no charge.

Is it suitable for a small independent garage?

Yes. Starter is built for the single-bay and two-bay independent: bookings, diary, job cards, estimates and invoicing, MOT checker, customer records and basic reporting for up to three technicians. The bigger plans add parts, rotas, SMS and car sales when you need them.

Does it work for MOT stations?

Yes. The MOT checker looks vehicles up against DVLA and DVSA records, MOT due dates are tracked per vehicle, and automated SMS reminders go out ahead of expiry so the retest and the next year's test both come back to you rather than the garage down the road.

Can I run more than one site?

Yes, on Professional and Enterprise. Each site keeps its own address, opening hours, bays, VAT number and staff, and you switch between them in the diary, invoices, MOTs, jobs and parts. Owners see all sites; staff see only the sites they are assigned to.

What is the AI receptionist?

An optional phone line for the garage that answers calls 24 hours a day, takes bookings straight into the diary, answers common questions and forwards anything it cannot handle. Garage Line is £14.99 a month for the number and minutes, with the AI receptionist as an add-on. Every call is logged with a transcript in Call History.

Can I send SMS reminders and marketing?

SMS reminders for MOT, service and appointments are included from Starter, with a branded sender name and templates you can edit. SMS marketing campaigns to customers who have opted in are an Enterprise feature.

Does it handle parts and stock?

Professional and Enterprise include parts stock with reorder levels, purchase orders, supplier records and a tyre bay module. Parts added to a job card are invoiced automatically, which closes the commonest revenue leak in a workshop.

Can I take card payments?

Yes. Connect a Stripe account from Settings and invoice emails carry a Pay Now button; customers pay by card and the invoice is marked paid. Payment links can also be sent by SMS.

How do I move my existing data across?

Send us what you have, whether that is an export from another system, spreadsheets or a customer list, and we import customers, vehicles, MOT dates and history for you before your trial ends. There is no charge and no downtime; most garages are live in an afternoon.

Does it work on mobile and tablet?

Yes. It is a web app, so it runs in the browser on any phone, tablet or PC with nothing to install, and updates are automatic. Technicians can use it at the ramp on a tablet or phone.

Is there a free trial?

Yes. 28 days of full access to every feature, no card needed to start. If you decide to stay you choose a plan; if not, nothing is charged.

Run the Whole Garage From One Screen

28 days of full access free, no card to start, and we move your customers, vehicles and MOT dates across for you. If it does not save you time in the first week, walk away.
